Drive's Game

We spent an evening "watching" baseball.  I got bored rather fast, and then it was playing games for me.
We stood along the fence to watch for awhile, and i got an outfielder to wave at me in the middle of the game.  I was kind of embarrassed afterward.

Greenville

So Last week we spent an evening in Greenville.  Taking pictures, going out to eat, and having fun.  This coke sign painted on a wall was so cool.

We had supper at Sticky fingers.  Its a great BBQ place.  And their towel like napkins are great fun.
In the middle of June, 3 of us traveled to Indiana for Steph's wedding.  It was a fun weekend.
We had a work night at the store to put our summer stuff out. So much clothes and people running around, makes for a great time.
Watching the guys trying to hang up tank tops was a humorous sight.

Waterfalls

So today Melissa and I went to look at some waterfalls. First we went to Kings Creek Fallls.  Its a 70 Foot waterfall.  And the hike wasn't long at all. Only a little over a half a mile to get to it.
We then went and found another fall that was another short hike away.  That falls was a little smaller but still beautiful.
I came home and mowed some lawn, and made myself some iced coffee.  Then this evening we went put-putting with some of the camp staff.  And had ice cream afterwards of course.  Twas a fun Saturday.

My birthday morning.  The girls had stuffed my car full (and when i say full it was full) of stuffed animals.  And streamers and window paint.

Here they are, the three that did it.
That afternoon I was surprised to see my parents and my sister Maria walk into the store.  We had a great weekend.  It was a lot of fun.
The beginning of March twas a sad time.  We had our farewell for Steph.
In March we also had a staff retreat at Camp.  We did group games, had a talent show, and just relaxed.  For the talent show, us girls acted the parts of some of our daily customers.  I got the part of the town drunk.

This past weekend.  The youth group at church had a dress up daffy supper.  So Annette, Jill and I went.
The cooks from camp were also there, dressed as cowgirls.
Afterward, the six of us went to Wal-mart.  All the stares was a little uncomfortable, but it sure was an experience.

Winter Storm

The big Winter Storm of 2011.
We got 8" of snow the beginning of January.  And I thought I wasn't going to see any snow this winter.

After the snow was here a couple of days, we decided to build some snowmen.  The snow wasn't to great then, but we did get 3 small ones built.

Winter Jam!!!
We had so much fun at Winter Jam in Atlanta, GA this past month.

Chris August

Francesca Battistelli

And the head lining group was NewsBoys.  It was an awesome concert.

Valentine's Dinner.
Last night the Director and his wife had a Valentine's Dinner for all of us single girls at camp.

It was a fun evening of relaxation.  They had us do a skit and sing songs.  And the food was amazing.

Judd and Amy and their family sang a couple of songs for us. And we ended the evening by watching a movie.  Letters to God.  A very sad, but good movie.

life

Things have been very busy around here.  I still have not gotten pictures from the other girls about the snow storm, that i really want to post.  This past monday was my day off, and 2 of the chiefs have jeeps, and they took us jeeping/mudding.  It was a ton of fun.  We were on the road for 4.5 hours.  I had never done something like that before.  Monday was going to be my day to post pictures, but the jeeping took care of that.

Southern Snow

It looks pretty much the same as at home.  But it is so much more exciting.  We got like 8 inches and are snowed in.  They said it hasn't snowed this much in at least 25 years.  Richard and Becky invited us over for home-made donuts and coffee.  It is definitely the perfect lazy day.
